What is Boccia?
Boccia is a precision ball sport, similar to bowls or pΓ©tanque, designed specifically for athletes with physical disabilities. Players throw, kick, or use a ramp to propel leather balls as close as possible to a white target ball called the "jack".
The sport has been part of the Paralympic Games since 1984 and is played in over 75 countries worldwide. It's a game of strategy, skill, and precision that anyone can enjoy regardless of physical ability.
